Meet Janice Hanzel

Janice began clogging in the fall of 1979 and teaching the summer of 1980. Janice was the Instructor/Artistic Director and founder of the Barbary Coast Cloggers & Hillbilly Cloggers.
She has served as President & Vice President of the Northern California Cloggers Association (NCCA,Inc) helping to promote clogging throughout Northern California. Janice is author of the Northern California Clogging Step Dictionary and Update, compiling steps from all over the U.S. and abroad.
She is a Certified Clogging Instructor and Competition Judge and is currently Co-Chair of the Certified Clogging Instructor (CCI) program for C.L.O.G..
She has traveled the US and Australia and Canada sharing her talents. Janice continues teaching three days a week, including daughter Kellee’s Clogging Team, AFTERSHOCK Beginners Class. Janice is the stay-at-home grandma who shuttles the kids to school and back and daughter to work and back and works part time at a dental office.
