How to understand the tally sheets from a competition when 5 judges are used on NCHC competitions.

TEAM:  On team scoresheets, take all 5 judges, this will be the total score, subtract the High Judge Score and Low Judge Score, this will give you your total score.  Divide by the 3 remaining judges and this will give you your average score.  Each category has a different point value, divide the average into the maximum score of the scoresheet and this will give you the % Achieved. Teams, Duets and Choreographed are used on 5 scoresheets.

INDIVIDUALS:  For Individual scoresheets, all 5 scores are added together and divided by 5, High and Low Judge scores are not removed.  All 5 judges are used for group solos, a cappella solos, all-star solos and short duets.
